ISO 56001 Innovation Management introduces the principles and practices that support an effective Innovation Management System (IMS) and help organisations develop innovation as an ongoing capability. The course explores how value realisation, strategic direction, future-focused leadership, innovation culture, exploitable insights, uncertainty management, adaptable structures and a systemic approach contribute to meaningful innovation outcomes. It also focuses on the role of the Innovation Management practitioner through the Innovation Management Integral Persona, covering bodily readiness, work role effectiveness, relational engagement, cognitive agility, emotional regulation and purpose alignment. Scholars will explore how people, processes, technology, knowledge and organisational relationships work together to support innovation, informed decision-making, responsible practice, measurable value and continual improvement.
